Infrastructure & Facilities

FTS has the capability to provide the co-ordination and engineering design for the infrastructure and other facilities needed to support all projects. These are generally covered under our Civil, Structural and Hydraulic engineering services pages; however, in the context of a project, FTS bring to the project team our confidence in liaising with the authorities on technical and approval requirements.

Our approach is hands-on and personable. Ensuring a high level of rapport with the authorities and regular attendance at industry briefings to ensure we are at the forefront of understanding the local issues driving the outcome of development conditions and the legal framework applicable to the development consent, construction and handover process.

Infrastructure Projects

FTS provides specialist skills to clients in various roles on some large infrastructure project that do not achieve the fanfare of the media, yet are very important to our way of life. Some examples include:

  • Dam Drone UAV deployment and photogrammetric surveys for a new catenary system for control cabling

  • Water supply, booster pump, mains hydrants and stormwater upgrades

  • Water Main, Sewer and Stormwater upgrades

  • Roadworks & Drainage, Water Main and Sewer Services

  • Container and Reefer Expansion including HV and LV conduits and pit systems and civil works, Crane Rail works expansion

  • Transformer and switch room upgrades, pile systems, drainage, water main diversions, crane rails, building repairs, and pavements

  • Switch room upgrades, drainage, main diversions, building repairs, and pavements

  • Road widening, flooding, on-site sewerage system, stormwater harvesting system, water supply and irrigation, pavements and boardwalks

  • Road realignment Bonalbo to Kyogle

Facilities

FTS provides specialist skills to clients in various roles on some ancillary works for private and public development and sporting bodies. Some examples include:
